  1. i'm usually a pretty easy going lady and don't have much to complain about when it comes to Caleb, but (i blame the pregnancy hormones!) lately, it seems every little thing has been driving me bonkers! this chapter definitely put me in my place, and i have been reminding myself "if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all!" When Caleb comes home, the last thing he needs is a list of things i want him to do, and a lecture when its not done the first second. and me thinking angry thoughts about my husband that does so much for me, and is the same sweetheart i used to only think adoring thoughts of. so, i realized i have been in the wrong. Caleb had a wisdom tooth out, so he miraculously didn't have work. i decided date night was going to happen, and i was so glad i did! even though it was a "family" date night and Connor was with us, it was nice to get out and not worry about the house or work, and be able to reconnect in a more laid back situation. boy did i need it! helped remind me of all the reasons i love my man so much, even though it was just food and a movie!

  2. Still being a newly wed we have spent the last year getting to know the ins and outs of each other and how each other lives at home. Well spending 24/7 with someone can sometimes make you a little grouchy and touchy. I have found that happening with us. So I go to my friend and complain. after reading this chapter I realized I should probably go else where with my complaining i.e. heavenly father. But its also nice to have someone who has been married a little longer give you advice about how to make it through.
